Review: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit

Today I have a review of a BB cream, this summer I went to Hong Kong and there was an Etude House counter there. I went there and bought some korean products, the BB cream is one of them and the price was 138 HKD. I really like Korean products because I think they work very well on asian skin!

This BB cream has Whitening, Anti-Wrinkle and Anti-Darkening effect. It also contains SPF30/PA++ , this BB cream contains the basic things that most asian BB creams have.
The packaging also looks very cute and girly, I really like cute girlish stuff ^^ The BB cream also has a pump, so you can control the amount of BB cream you apply, it is also very hygienic.

This is the BB cream on my hand, I have the colous W22 which is a special Hong Kong Colour, if I am right. I got tanned a lot =] so the colour looks too light on my hand, but it fits perfectly on my face.

This is the BB cream when I smeared it out. Looks pretty good, right? The coverage is also pretty high for me. I don't have a lot of trouble on my skin anymore, so I don't need a coverage that is too high. After I applied the BB cream, I don't have to apply any concealer, but it depends on how many spots your skin has.

The consistency is also very thick and hard to spread it over your face, I like watery based BB cream (E.g. Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream) But this BB cream is perfect for the winter, in my opion.

Make your own mask!

Hi everyone, I've always wanted a beautiful skin that has a natural glow, especially in the summer when the sun is damaging our skin (or you are like me, too lazy to put sunscreen XD) To save my skin I kinda opened my fridge and found some interesting stuff. So basicially I will be rubbing fruit and vegetable all over my face, but hey! It's a cheap and a clean way to get beautiful skin :P

• First way that is also the easiest and the fast way is to put sliced cucumbers on your face. I just take a knife and cut them, or you can buy a special cucumber facial shaver, it will slice the cucumber very thin and you won't waste any cucumbers. (You probably find that thing on internet, I bought it in China)
  
  Why is cumcumber good for your skin? As cucumber and the skin share the same level of hydrogen, it becomes easier for cucumber to mask all the problem areas. It helps in soothing and softening your skin which can get you relaxed in no time. Due to its cooling effect it can be termed as a magic wand for all your skin problems. The cleaning and cleansing property helps your skin tremendously making it soft and supple.

• Tomato is also very good for your skin, this method is less clean and it looks very ugly when you apply it on your face like baby shit. Take a tomato and slice it like the cumcumbers, then mash is with a fork until it turns into congee. If you think it is too thin and droopy put some rice flour or some things to thicken the tomato congee. And apply on your skin.
  
  Tomatoes are good for treating black heads and whitening your skin, it also overcome a oily skin and it also works as a natural sunscreen.

Review: Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation

Hoi iedereen, ik liep vorige keer lekker in de Sephora te kijken wat voor make-up ik nog kon inslaan, voordat Sephora definitief uit Nederland ging. Eigenlijk wilde ik de Fake up concealer van Benefit halen, maar helaas was hij uitverkocht. Ik wilde al bijna weglopen, totdat ik de Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation. Na hem een tijdje gebruikt te hebben, ga ik er vandaag een review over schrijven.

Dit is hem dan de foundation, wat beweert hij eigenlijk precies?

• Helps to boost cellular respiration for a "plumping effect" (Opvullend effect)
• Helps to protect against enviromental stresses (Bescherming milieu invloeden)
• Contains vitamin C & E derivaatines known to prevent signs of aging (Anti-aging)

Verder zit er nog SPF 25 PA+++  in en is hij oil-free.

Ik heb deze foundation in de kleur Petal, hij is eigenlijk een beetje te donker voor mijn huidskleur, maar dat is OK, want in de zomer wordt ik toch wel wat bruiner. De foundation zelf is érg lightweight, het lijkt wel of je helemaal niks of je gezicht hebt gesmeerd. Hij ziet er ook heel erg natuurlijk uit of je gezicht (Ik breng mijn foundation met mijn hand aan, dat geeft voor mijn gevoel het natuurlijkste effect >.<).

Ik heb van mijzelf een gemengde huid, en meestal zijn mijn wangen erg droog. Wanneer ik foundation aanbreng schilvert hij mijn huid, en zeker wanneer ik een oil-free product op mijn gezicht aanbreng. Maar bij deze foundation schilvert mijn huid niet, hij hydrateerd mijn huid erg goed ondanks hij oil-free is. 

Enigste minpunt met deze foundation is dat hij snel van je gezicht "afglijdt" Ookal poeder je hem af, na een paar uurtjes glimt hij wel rondom je bij je T-zone. Bij mij houd deze foundation het geen hele dag vol, misschien omdat ik nooit mijn poeder/foundation bijwerk gedurende dag.

Dus al in al is dit een fijne foundation, hij is wel een beetje te duur als je nadenkt dat er net zo goede en goedkopere foundations zijn (zoals de Bourjois Healthy mix). De foundation hydrateerd, voelt licht aan en de dekking is op te bouwen. I like this product!

De foundation is in Sephora (+hun website) en in sommige Douglas filialen te koop. Ik had deze foundation voor €32,04 gekocht.

[K-Trend] Gradient Lips

The On-going trend van tegenwoordig in Zuid-Korea: Grandient Lips! 

Als je goed kijkt naar het plaatje hier boven, zie je dat Min's lippen in het midden wat roder zijn dan aan de buitenkant. Eigenlijk valt er niet zoveel over te zeggen, maar ikzelf vind het erg mooi. De lippen lijken voller en sexier ^^

DD Cream opvolger van de CC cream?

Een grote hype in Azië dat is overgewaaid naar het westen, de BB cream! BB cream wie kent dat nou niet? Daarna kwam er een CC cream, wat nu ook een soort hype is in Azië. Aziatische vrouwen gebruiken een CC cream als een base, CC cream heeft een hogere SPF en minder dekking. Alsof we er niet genoeg kunnen hebben van de BB creams en CC creams, Julep lanceert nu een DD cream. WHUT?!?! Yes, I am serious. De opvolger van de CC cream, de DD cream komt in Juni uit. 

Wat is een DD cream?

DD cream staat voor Dynamic Do-All, volgens Julep is het een betere versie van CC cream.

• Het voelt lightweight op je huid
• De dekking is op te bouwen
• SPF
• Het verzorgt je huid
• Beschermd je huid
• ETC..

Het klinkt wel mooi allemaal, maar of we een DD cream wel echt nodig hebben, daar ben ik niet zo zeker van. Het klinkt wel grappig, misschien dat er volgend jaar een EE cream of een FF cream uitkomt. Ben wel erg nieuwsgierig naar de DD cream!
